In addition to running The KP Method, I'm a news producer at FOX4 — the #1 station in Kansas City. I started off producing the 4am show, which is the first newscast to air each weekday in all of Kansas City. After almost two years, I moved to the noon show.

 

My responsibilities as a producer include:

​

• making sure viewers have access to the latest and freshest stories

• researching current news on a local, national, and global level

• catering to the well-being of viewers by including lifestyle, health, business, and tech stories

• writing news stories, including scripts for anchors

• working alongside graphics team members and video editors to determine the best visuals for the show

• working with reporters to discover the best stories for them to cover for the day

My motto as a producer is to share what's breaking, what's big, and what's beautiful. As a result, my shows aren't just filled with crime and violence. They include stories that help viewers feel uplifted, empowered, and capable of creating positive change in their lives and in the community.
